COVID-19 & Flu Information

The coronavirus pandemic is rapidly evolving in the United States.  While we are closely following the latest information as it becomes available, recommendations may change faster than this webpage can be updated.  Please obtain up to the minute COVID-19 information from one of the sites listed below.

Locations & Hours

Our practices remain open but with limitations.  The offices are operating with a limited schedule and staff. We are adhering to all the social distancing recommendations and the use of protective equipment to ensure the safety of our staff and patients.  Where possible we would prefer to perform your scheduled office visit using telehealth.  With a smart phone or a camera connected to your computer you can be invited to share audio and video with your provider.  During the COVID-19 outbreak most insurance plans are waiving your deductible or copay for these visits.  You and your healthcare provider will need to determine if an in person visit is needed.

Visitor Restrictions

  • Third party vendor visits are prohibited
  • Students and volunteers have been suspended
  • Patients requiring an in-person visit should not bring other individuals with them to the appointment

If You are Sick

  • If you have a fever or symptoms of a respiratory illness contact your primary care provider prior to coming to the office
  • Consider a telehealth visit, decreasing the chance of spreading the illness
  • If you are asked to come to the office, obtain a mask from the front desk immediately upon arrival

Testing for COVID-19

  • PMSI is offering COVID-19 curbside testing at specific locations only
  • A PMSI provider must order the testing
  • Only patients exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or those who have had direct contact with a confirmed COVID-19 positive person can be tested due to limited testing supplies
  • Rapid testing is currently not available

How to Protect Yourself

  • STAY HOME!
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from others
  • Wash your hands often
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Go out ONLY for things you cannot live without
  • Do not gather in groups
  • Do not make unnecessary trips
